We suggest flying in to Reno. While there is limited shuttle service, renting a car would be the easiest. It is about an hour to an hour and a half drive.

If you are looking for a way to get around without driving, Uber and Lyft are both active in South Lake, but may not be as available as you are used to. The Casino’s usually have Taxi cabs available and you can always grab a number for one from your hotel front desk.
In years past there have also been scooters readily available and there is a fairly safe trail that goes from the casino corridor to el dorado beach area.
The Landing

Our wedding will be held at The Landing, right on the shores of Lake Tahoe. It is situated within walking distance to the casinos, village, and more. We have arranged a limited number of terrace rooms starting at $569 a night. If you are interested in these, please reach out to Dave or Bethany directly.

The Coachman
Limited Rooms Available Starting at $379 + taxes
This is where we stayed the weekend we got engaged. It is a charming hotel with a wine and beer bar with food options. Bethany really enjoyed their lox bagel and other brunch options! Dave also spent plenty of time here pre-pandemic co-working and enjoying their bar, hot tub & pool with friends.
It is within walking distance of the venue, village, and the lake.

Bally’s Tahoe
The casino corridor offers a number of hotel options at various pricing levels. We’re suggesting Bally’s, as Joe Buty has given it the seal of approval. Bethany has also always wanted to visit the indoor pool there, so please invite her over if you stay there.
These hotels are all within walking distance of the venue as long as you are decently mobile or a quick uber/taxi ride. They also have the most robust set of amenities and food options.
